GREEN EVENT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT
From Presidential Nominations in stadiums of 84,000 people to live global concerts involving over 2 billion attendees, ARC Sustainability has been tremendously successful in planning and building green events. We have created measurable and verifiable greening programs and thrive under the pressure that comes with producing quality results under often-limited time-frames and budgets. Whatever the venue size or type of event, we collaborate with all entities involved to build integrated best practices for sustainability. WORLDWIDE GREEN EVENTS
ARC Sustainability thrives on producing large-scale sustainable concerts and events. We are at our best under the high-stakes pressure of live events with often-limited timeframes. Whether it’s the 350,000-person Electric Daisy Carnival, the 300,000 person Democratic National Convention, or Live Earth’s global Concerts for a Climate in Crisis, we work tirelessly to create seamless, sustainable and measurable events.
Case in point, ARC was responsible for managing the comprehensive greening of New York’s Giants Stadium, Shanghai’s Oriental Pearl Tower and Johannesburg’s Coca-Cola Come for Al Gore’s Live Earth Concerts for a Climate in Crisis. Live Earth was the largest musical event in world history with 9 international concerts in 24 hours with over 2 billion participants. We integrated best environmental practices with venue management, operations, musical artists, production teams, sponsors, messaging and press teams, caterers, vendors, printers, utilities, cities, media, volunteers, office staff, carbon offset providers and waste management, recycling and composting services.
In order to build an environmental legacy beyond the concerts, ARC Sustainability created and managed partnerships with over 650 international non-governmental organizations focused on combating the climate crisis. ARC‘s founder was also a contributing author to the Live Earth Greening Manual and Live Earth Green Artists Handbook and helped develop the Friends of Live Earth online event kit, which spawned 10,413 simultaneous events in 132 countries.
