WORLDWIDE GREEN EVENTS
ARC Sustainability was responsible for managing the comprehensive greening of New York's Giants Stadium, Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower and Johannesburg's Coca-Cola Come for Al Gore's Live Earth Concerts for a Climate in Crisis. Live Earth was the largest musical event in world history with 9 international concerts in 24 hours with over 2 billion participants. We integrated best environmental practices with venue management, operations, musical artists, production teams, sponsors, messaging and press teams, caterers, vendors, printers, utilities, cities, media, volunteers, office staff, carbon offset providers and waste management, recycling and composting services.
In order to build an environmental legacy beyond the concerts, ARC Sustainability created and managed partnerships with over 650 international non-governmental organizations focused on combating the climate crisis. ARC's founder was also a contributing author to the
Live Earth Greening Manual and
Live Earth Green Artists Handbook and helped develop the
Friends of Live Earth online event kit, which spawned 10,413 simultaneous events in 132 countries.
